'It's My Business' Workshop in 4th Class

Every Friday morning for the past 6 weeks Claire and Irina from Junior Achievement Ireland have come into us. They taught us about businesses and entrepreneurship. They gave us Facebook pens and a book all about businesses and setting up a business. We had to come up with our own business ideas and present/pitch our business ideas to them and the to whole class. After we presented our idea the judges, Claire and Ms. Newe, had to decide how much fake money they were going to invest in our business based off how good our business idea was and how good the pitch we presented was. By the last day of Junior Achievement we had definitely learned a lot more about the business world and how important it is. They also gave us a certificate and jellies for successfully completing the 'Its My Business programme'. We really enjoyed it!
